Country Meadows Job Description Fitness Associate Title: Fitness AssociateReports to: Executive DirectorSupervises: SelfPosition Summary: The Fitness Associate will conduct safe and effective exercise sessions that are appropriate for various levels of care. The associate will support the Fitness Director by ensuring that the residents are attending Nautilus sessions and participating in physical activity. Fitness Associates will have the opportunity to lead classes and to help with special events. Work Environment: Workplace includes the Nautilus equipment and surrounding areas. Group classes may take place in a variety of locations throughout the campus. Access to office areas is provided for computer/copier and administrative related duties

Minimum Qualifications: • Positive exercise philosophy • Experience in working with older adults or special populations regarding physical activity • Minimum high school graduate • Certifications desired: o Group Exercise or Personal Training for Older Adultso CPR / Basic First Aid (required)o Arthritis Foundation Exercise Leadero Silver Sneakerso Tai Chi, Aquatics, YogaClean driving record |
